SLOW COOKED BEEF & BEER STEW

Ingredients:

16 oz beer (Stout or Porter of your choice)
2 1/2 lb cubed stew meat
4 cut up carrots
4 cubed potatoes
3 cut up celery stalks
1 cut up onion
2 cloves minced garlic
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 1/2 tbsp oregano
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp pepper
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
4 tbsp melted butter

Directions:

1) Cut the beef into 1" squares.
2) Place all of the ingredients (but the butter and flour) into a slow cooker.
3) Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
4) Now mix the butter with the flour into a paste and stir into stew.
5) Turn slow cooker onto high to thicken (about 20 min.)
