I grow my own and make hot sauce, so it was only a matter of time for some to make it into a brew. Takes very little pepper for intense heat, I used half of one medium habanero, seeds and inner membrane removed for a 1 gal batch and floated it in secondary for only 24 hours. Was hotter than expected, but quite tasty.

How much did the flavor profile sway from Red Ale after adding them in? Was it still Red Ale'ish + Heat?

It was still red ale-ish, with a hint of the habanero flavor, then the heat bites at the end
