The pour was a hazy golden orange with an average (1-2 finger) white creamy head that lasted throughout and had excellent thick sheets of lacing.
The aroma was of a light grain malt and a funky horse blanket Belgian yeast with notes of green apple, banana, citrus (lemon), clove and honey.
The taste was a tad acidic and a little sweet with hints of banana, honey and apple at first, becoming a bit funky with a strong yeast presence and a mildly bitter spicy citrus finish. The flavor lasted an average duration following the swallow with a nice fruity spicy taste left behind to linger on for a little bit longer.
Mouthfeel was just past light in body with a slightly dry texture and a medium carbonation.
Overall this was a brew that was put together very well, allowing for a good refreshing taste with a compelling body and smooth drinkability, which all did a great job of concealing the high ABV...
