The pour was a hazy reddish orange with an average (1-2 finger) off white frothy head that was mostly lasting, reducing to a thin cap with good sheets of streaky lacing.
The aroma was of a light biscuit malt, pine hops and a moldy yeast with notes of caramel, citrus (grapefruit and orange peel) and a light fruity ester.
The taste was mildly malty and a tad sweet with a hint of caramel and a slight fruitiness early on, and then become moderately hoppy with shot of grapefruit and a bitter citrus peel finish. The flavor hung on for a good long time proceeding the swallow with a bitter citrus peel taste left lying on the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was just past light in body and extremely dry in texture with a carbonation that was just past medium.
Overall this was a very tasty IPA, with a strong bitter hoppy presence that was offset nicely by a mild fruity sweetness...
