The pour was a cloudy medium orange with an average (1-2 finger) white frothy head that was mostly lasting, reducing to a thick frothy film and large collar with excellent sheeting of sticky lacing.
The aroma was of a grain malt, floral and citrus hops and a sweaty yeast with notes of caramel and citrus (grapefruit and orange peel).
The taste was moderately bitter with a light caramel sweetness pretty much throughout, progressing slightly with a nice grapefruit hop presence taking over along with a bitter citrus peel ending. The flavor lasted an average time proceeding the swallow with a light hoppy grapefruit taste left behind to linger a little longer.
Mouthfeel was light in body and dry in texture with a carbonation that was just beyond mild in intensity.
Overall I found this to be a very well balanced IPA, nice and hoppy with a tasty light sweetness and a not so overbearing bitterness...
