Poured black with a large light brown creamy head that was fully lasting and had excellent lacing. The aroma was of a burnt cereal malts, a mild does of resin hops and a sweet yeast with notes of dark chocolate, coffee and molasses. It tasted richly sweet and quite malty with a small hint of coffee to start then progressed into a bitter-sweet chocolate-coffee flavor at the finish. Mouthfeel was full in body and creamy in texture with a soft carbonation. Overall a quite satisfying chocolate stout.
