Flying Dog "Dogtoberfest"

The pour was a hazy medium amber brown with a large (2-3 fingers) rocky light tan head that lasted a little while leaving behind some puddled residue floating on top thus producing excellent lacing that really stuck to the glass.
The aroma was strong of a toasted biscuit malt, a nice piney hop and an earthy yeast with notes of caramel and dried dark fruit.
It tasted malty-sweet with a hint of caramel at first and mildly bitter from the hops at the finish with a touch of dried fruit at the end with the flavor lasting a really nice long time after the swallow.
Mouthfeel was light to medium in body and a little dry in texture with a nice soft carbonation.
Overall a very impressive brew for this style, a perfect blending of flavors with a nice mild hop finish.
