The pour was a cloudy dark amber with a small (less than 1 finger) creamy white head that dissipated rapidly and had fair lacing.
The aroma was of a light biscuit malt and a doughy yeast with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar, allspice and pumpkin.
The taste was sweet and mildly bitter with a hint of brown sugar and cinnamon in the beginning and then became quite bitter with a strong presence of allspice and a hint of pumpkin at the end. The flavor lasted only a short time after the swallow leaving a hint of bitter spice behind.
Mouthfeel was light in body and watery yet dry in texture with a forceful carbonation.
Overall a mild tasting Pumpkin Ale that had a spicy bitterness which laid on the taste buds for a little while.
