The pour was a medium to dark brown with a large (2-3 finger) foamy light brown head that had great retention an offered up some damn good lacing which clung to the glass rather nicely.

The aroma was kind of mild of a roasted nutty malt, a resin hop and a sweet leathery yeast with notes of cocoa, toffee and roasted coffee.

The taste was robustly malty with a hint of toffee and a little nutty at first then became moderately bitter and a tad acidic with a nice coffee note and a touch of chocolate at the end with the flavor sticking around for quite a long time.

Mouthfeel was medium in body and creamy yet mildly dry in texture with a vibrant carbonation.

Overall a Brown Ale that had a lot of flavor and an almost perfect balance of bitter and sweet.
