The pour was a deep dark black with an average sized (1-2 finger) light brown creamy head that dissipated quickly leaving just a little residue around the edges of the glass, which produced some fair lacing.
The aroma was of a roasted chocolate malt and a sweet moldy yeast with notes of milk chocolate, coffee, a bit of toffee and lactose sugar.
The taste was malty sweet with notes of milk chocolate and toffee from the onset with the finish having a coffee and cream flavor to it. The flavor lasted an average amount of time after the swallow with a nice milky creaminess left at the end.
Mouthfeel was just a bit under full in body with the texture being smooth and creamy and having a subtly soft carbonation.
Overall a silky sweet creamy brew that sits extremely well on the taste buds.
