The pour was a very dark brown with an average sized (1-2 finger) dark beige frothy head that reduced some, but pretty much lasted throughout producing some good clingy lacing.
The aroma was quite hoppy (should being they used 14 kinds of hops) with citrus, floral and resin hops, a roasted chocolate malt and an earthy yeast with notes of bitter sweet chocolate, dark roasted coffee and grapefruit.
The taste was moderately bitter having a nice bitter sweet chocolate note in the beginning with the finish being extremely hoppy with strong notes of roasted coffee and dark fruit towards the end. The flavor lasted a decent amount of time proceeding the swallow leaving a nice hoppy citrus flavor to lie on the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was a few shades above medium in body and creamy yet dry in texture with a nice lively carbonation.
Overall, although I did not taste 14 kinds of hops it was an intensely hoppy brew with a nice dark malty flavor.
