The aroma was of floral and grass hops, a grain malt and a soapy yeast with notes of caramel, citrus (grapefruit) and a mild alcohol tinge.
The taste started with a mild sweetness and a slight bitterness with a note of caramel and then finished quite a bit hoppier with an excellent bitter citrus taste and a slight alcohol presence at the end. The flavor lasted a really nice long time with the smooth hoppy citrus taste fading very slowly.
Mouthfeel was just a tad over light in body with the texture being a bit dry and having a slight oiliness to it with a nice strong carbonation.
Overall a nice strong hoppy brew that had such a good balance of a bitter citrus and caramel sweetness that the high ABV was hardly noticeable.
