The pour was a thick dark brown with an average sized (1-2 finger) frothy medium brown head that diminished for the most part to just a foamy collar, creating a little spotty lacing.
Aroma was all about the coffee with a roasted malt and a sweaty yeast and having hints of chocolate and vanilla.
The taste was malty and a little sweet with a nice chocolate note in the beginning then grew slightly bitter with a heavy dose of coffee and a bit of vanilla at the end. The flavor hung on for a short while and again was all about the coffee.
Mouthfeel was somewhere close to full in body with a creamy, oily texture and a perky carbonation.
Overall a decent tasting coffee Stout with a nice touch of vanilla and a name that fits this brew perfectly.
