The pour was a murky medium brown with a small (less than 1 finger) creamy off white head that was fully diminishing and had poor lacing.
The aroma was of a dark bread malt and a sweet doughy yeast with notes of caramel, maple syrup, dark fruit, a mild alcohol tinge and a slight medicine odor.
The taste was moderately sweet with a big caramel note early on and finished with a hint of maple syrup and a strong dark fruit presence towards the end. The flavor lasted a decent duration after the swallow, letting one enjoy the mild sweet fruity taste.
Mouthfeel was just a bit beyond medium in body and extremely creamy in texture with an almost flat carbonation.
Overall an awesome fruity brew that was extremely smooth and easy going down, aging did this beer some serious justice...
