The pour was a hazy dark mahogany with an average sized (1-2 finger) light beige frothy head that was mostly diminishing and had fair lacing.
The aroma was extremely sweet of a dark bread malt and a sweet doughy yeast with notes of molasses, caramel, toffee, dark fruit and a mild alcohol tinge.
The taste was heavily sweet and malty with notes of molasses and caramel throughout with the ending having a hint of dark fruit and toffee and a moderate alcohol finish. The flavor lasted an awesomely long time after the swallow with a nice sweet fruity ending.
Mouthfeel was medium in body and had a syrupy dry texture with a good lively carbonation.
Overall an extremely sweet and enticing brew that had a multitude of flavors coming together to create an very nice tasting ale.
