The pour was a medium brown with an orange hue and a large (2-3 finger) khaki colored rocky head that diminished to a thin layer of residue with a decent collar and had fair lacing.
The aroma was super light of a toasted chocolate malt, a mild resin hop and a doughy yeast with notes of chocolate and coffee.
The taste was lightly sweet with a hint of chocolate at first then became a smooth bitter malty with a note of coffee towards the end. The flavor lasted a short while with a weak coffee taste left behind.
Mouthfeel was just a little shy of medium in body and had a slight watery texture with a mild but firm carbonation.
Overall the taste was a little stronger than the aroma but still was a tad on the mild side...
