Wexford "Irish Cream Ale"
Greene King - Bury St. Edmunds, England
Cream Ale (ABV 5%)

[Best served in a Nonic Pint glass]

Rating: 3.2/5.0

Aroma: 6/10
Appearance: 5/5
Taste: 7/10
Palate: 3/5
Overall: 11/20

The pour was a clear medium amber with an average sized (1-2 finger) cascading dense creamy beige head that had great longevity thus producing some really excellent sheets of lace.

The aroma was a bit mild of a light bread malt and a doughy yeast with notes of caramel and toffee.

The taste was a little sweet and smoothly malty with a nice hint of caramel early on with a lightly bitter finish and a touch of toffee at the end. The flavor lasted an average duration with a nice creamy bitter-sweet taste left behind.

Mouthfeel was just under medium in body and extremely creamy in texture with a solid medium carbonation.

Overall a super creamy and decently flavorful Ale, one that I will most likely enjoy next St. Patty's day...
