The pour was a medium murky golden yellow with an average sized (1-2 finger) white creamy head that had awesome retention, reducing to a thin white layer and having excellent sheets of lacing.
The aroma was of a grain malt and a moldy Belgian yeast with notes of banana, honey and citrus (orange and lemon).
The taste was lightly sweet with a touch of malt and a hint of honey at first and had a nice bitter-sweet yeasty finish with a big note of citrus at the end. The flavor lingered for a good long time with the yeasty bitterness lasting the longest.
Mouthfeel was light to medium in body with a creamy dry texture and a medium carbonation.
Overall a boldly flavored Belgian Ale without the heavy alcohol presence, very enjoyable...
