The pour was a cloudy golden amber with a slight yellow hue and an average sized (1-2 finger) white frothy head that was mostly lasting, receding to a large collar and large cap of foam thus creating some good sticky lacing.
The aroma was mild and had a slight fruitiness to it with straw malts, a floral hop and a moldy yeast with notes of caramel, toffee and citrus (grapefruit and orange peel).
The taste was ever so lightly sweet and a tad bitter with a hint of caramel at first, and then progressed into this extremely bitter flavor that was also a bit sour and had a note of grapefruit with a mildly sweet orange taste at the end. The flavor lingered for an average duration with the sweetly hoppy fruity flavor settling nicely on the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was a few steps above light in body with a good dry texture and a lively carbonation.
Overall a very well balanced IPA that had the mix of fruit and hops blending extremely well...
