The pour was a murky plum orange with an average sized (1-2 finger) light pink foamy head that reduced down to a large collar of foam with some really good sticky lacing.
The aroma was all about the strawberries, with a little musty yeast and a hint of bubblegum.
The taste was sweetly tart with a bit of maltiness and a strong strawberry presence throughout. It kind of reminds me of a “Sour Strawberry Jolly Rancher”. The flavor lasted a decent duration after the swallow being mostly of tart strawberries and not much else.
Mouthfeel was light in body and slightly syrupy in texture with a very lively carbonation.
Overall a very sweet and tart Lambic that was mildly refreshing. It’s a brew that would be great mixed with a good imperial stout...
