The pour was a clear medium yellow with an average (1-2 finger) white frothy head that reduced to a thin film and medium collar creating some fair spotty lacing.
The aroma was pretty basic for the style with a straw malt, a grassy hop and a soapy yeast and had a mild note of caramel and a slight cardboard odor.
The taste was very lightly malty with a grainy feel and a touch of caramel at first and finished with a mild bitter hoppiness. The flavor lasted only a short while being mostly of a bitter stale taste.
Mouthfeel was light in body and had a mildly dry texture with a good lively carbonation.
Overall a light hoppy brew that would be just fine on a hot summer’s day after some yard work...
