The pour was a clear medium golden amber with an average sized (1-2 finger) white fluffy head that diminished down to a few puddles and a large collar of residue, creating some excellent sheeting of sticky lacing.
The aroma was of a straw like malt, floral and grassy hops and a moldy yeast with notes of caramel and citrus (grapefruit and orange peel).
The taste was lightly bitter, mildly malty and a tad acidic with a hint of caramel from the start and then became very hoppy with a strong citrus peel bitterness and a decent alcohol presence towards the end. The flavor lingered for a decent while being of a bitter hoppy citrus taste.
Mouthfeel was a few steps beyond light in body with a dry oily texture and a nice lively carbonation.
Overall a brew with a good balance of bitterness and maltiness with a great hoppy citrus feel...
