The pour was a hazy medium golden orange with a large (2-3 finger) white frothy head that lasted throughout, reducing finally to a large cap which produced some rally good streaks of lacing.
The aroma was mild of a bread malt, spruce and citrus hops and an earthy doughy yeast with notes of caramel and citrus (grapefruit).
The taste was light and satisfyingly bitter with a malty caramel sweetness early on and then gradually became a tad hoppier with a good bitter citrus finish. The flavor hung on for a good long while after the swallow with a pronounced bitter citrusy taste and a hint of spice left lying on the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was just a tad under medium in body with a nice creamy dry texture and a prickly carbonation.
Overall a fantastic brew with superb balance of flavor, giving this beer an awesome drinkability...
