The pour was a clear medium copper amber with a large (2-3 finger) white frothy head which receded to a thin film with a medium collar and produced somewhat fair sheets of lacing.
The aroma was exactly like the name implies "Banana Bread" with a moderate bread malt, a sweet doughy yeast and a large dose of bananas.
The taste was lightly malty sweet with a light hint of bananas throughout with a slight bitter banana taste at the end. The flavor lasted an average duration proceeding the swallow and was all about the mild banana bread taste.
Mouthfeel was light in body with a watery very mildly dry texture and a medium carbonation.
Overall this beer taste some what like described, a mild bitter banana bread. Although it was a bit weaker and much lighter in flavor than the aroma suggested…
