The pour was a hazy medium golden yellow with a large (2-3 finger) white pillowy head that had great retention, finally reducing to a large cap with excellent sticky foamy lacing.

The aroma was of a grain malt, pine and citrus hops and a soapy Belgian yeast with notes of citrus (grapefruit), apple, banana, a bit of clove and a mild alcohol tinge.

The taste was lightly bitter with a slight malty fruity sweetness and a touch of banana at first, but quickly became decently hoppy and a tad yeasty with a hint of citrus and a bitter spicy finish. The flavor lasted a good while with a bitter yeasty taste left to linger on the taste buds.

Mouthfeel was just above light in body and dry in texture with a medium carbonation.

Overall a good mix of a Belgian Ale and an IPA, giving this brew a nice smooth drinkability...
