The pour was a hazy medium brown with an average (1-2 finger) light tan creamy head that lasted a good while, reducing to a thick residue and had nice sheets of lacing.
The aroma was a tad sweet with a grain malt, pine and citrus hops and a sweaty yeast, with notes of caramel, citrus (grapefruit & orange) and a mild fruity ester in that rested in the background.
The taste malty sweet with a big dose of caramel and a mild fruity presence in the beginning, then slowly progressed into a mildly hoppy taste with a bitter citrus peel finish. The flavor was short in duration with a mild bitter-sweet citrus taste left behind.
Mouthfeel was right between light and medium in body with a dry creamy texture and a soft carbonation.
Overall a very impressive brew with a great caramel sweetness which offset the hops extremely well...
