The pour was a cloudy golden yellow with a slight orange hue and a huge (3-4 finger) white fluffy head that reduced to a medium cap, which in turn produced excellent spotty lacing.
The aroma was of a funky Belgian yeast, pine hops and a light bread malt with notes of banana, pear, citrus (lemon and grapefruit) and a light caramel sweetness.
The taste was lightly bitter and a tad acidic with a nice fruity presence from the start, progressing into a bitter sour taste with a big dose of yeast and a mild hoppy ending. The flavor lasted a decent while, fading slowly as a mild alcohol warming sensation took hold.
Mouthfeel was light in body with a dry watery texture and a ticklish carbonation.
Overall this was an exceptionally tasty brew which was nice and yeasty, yet offset slightly by the light hop presence and a mild fruity sourness...
