The pour was a golden straw orange with an average (1-2 finger) white fluffy head that was mostly lasting, finally reducing to a few puddles and a medium collar with some excellent sticky spotty lacing.
The aroma was of floral and citrus hops, grain malts and a sweet yeast with notes of caramel, citrus (grapefruit) and a quite noticeable sweet fruity ester.
The taste was a little bitter-sweet with a hint of caramel and had a mild fruitiness from the onset, and then became quite a bit bitterer and nice and hoppy with a definite citrus peel ending. The flavor lasted a very long time proceeding the swallow with a hoppy bitter taste that was left to linger for quite a while longer.
Mouthfeel was a few shades beyond light in body and was dry in texture with a moderate carbonation.
Overall an extremely well balanced IPA, slightly fruity at the start and pleasurably bitter towards the end with a great drinkability...
