The pour was a hazy golden yellow with an average (1-2 finger) white creamy head that had great retention and excellent sheeting of lacing.
The aroma was of light grain malts, floral hops and a soapy yeast with notes of caramel and citrus (orange).
The taste was bitter from the get go with a mild caramel sweetness slowly creeping in, and then became mostly hoppy with a strong citrus peel bitterness and a slight peppery ending. The flavor lasted quite a while after the swallow with a good bold hoppiness left lying on the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was light in body and dry in texture with a medium carbonation.
Overall a very satisfying IPA with lots of flavor and a damn good hoppy presence...
