The pour was a clear light golden yellow with a large (2-3 finger) white cottony head that lasted a good while, eventually reducing to a medium film with fair spotty lacing.
The aroma was of a light straw malt and a moldy cobweb yeast with notes of citrus (lemon) and wheat.
Taste was mild and lightly sweet with a hint of citrus from the get go, with a nice crisp wheat flavor and a slight citrus peel bitterness towards the finish. The flavor stuck around for a decent duration with a crisp citrus taste left lying on the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with an almost fizzy carbonation.
Overall a Wheat Ale with a light bitterness and a good crisp refreshing taste. Great beer for a hot summer’s day...
