It pours a clear medium burnt orange with a large (2-3 finger) off white fizzy head that quickly diminished until there was almost nothing left, but did have a tiny bit of spotty lacing.
The aroma was mild of a sweet bread malt and a light doughy yeast with notes of pumpkin, clove, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar.
The taste was lightly sweet and quite malty with a touch of brown sugar and nutmeg throughout. Then a slight bitterness crept in along with a bite of clove and a hint of vanilla, with the ending having a spicy cinnamon taste. The flavor was average in duration following the swallow, with a light spiciness lingering on the taste buds for a bit longer.
Mouthfeel was somewhere between light and medium in body with a watery yet slightly dry texture and a fizzy carbonation.
Overall this was a light and tasty Pumpkin Ale with a slightly sweet start, a spicy bitter middle and a nice cinnamon ending. Yep, it's Fall alright...
