The Somersault Summer Seasonal from New Belgium Brewing Company in Fort Collins, Colorado pours out golden in color with good clarity and is topped with a two finger, rocky, white head that slowly reduces down. On the nose, aromas of lemon, grain and a little yeast. In the mouth, lemon and mild peppery spice are predominant with a few hints of sweetness and ginger. Light bodied. Moderate carbonation. Thick sheets of lacing on the glass. Crisp, clean mouthfeel. Medium length finish with good flavor.
A really nice craft beer for the Summer. I'd be happy to drink this anytime. Recommended.
