AVBC Summer Solstice Cream Ale

  • The Summer Solstice Cream Ale from Anderson Valley Brewing Company in Boonville, California pours out a deep copper in color with some ruby hues, good clarity and is topped with a one finger, light tan head that hangs around briefly. On the nose, aromas of graham cracker, brown sugar, toffee and a little vanilla. In the mouth, this is slightly creamy with flavors of apple, pear, graham cracker, vanilla and biscuit. Light side of medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Some lacing on the glass. Creamy mouthfeel. Somewhat dry on a moderate length finish.

A refreshing brew with unique flavors. One of my favorite summer brews because of its flavor. Recommended.
