Thanks to Ken for sending me this ESB Amber Ale from Flying Fish Brewing Company in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The ESB Amber Ale pours out a clear light copper in color with good clarity and is topped with a one finger, off-white, foamy head that reduces down to a thin film quickly. On the nose, toasted malt, caramel, biscuit and earthy hops. In the mouth, light caramel sweetness at first followed by biscuit, spice and a mild leafy hop bite. Light side of medium bodied. Well carbonated. Clean mouthfeel. Little lacing on the glass. The finish is slightly sweet with good flavor and a little juicy.
A nice craft beer with good balance and flavor. Recommended.
