The Beehive Honey Wheat Ale from Bristol Brewing Company in Colorado Springs, Colorado pours out bright gold in color with good clarity and is topped with a one finger, white head that readily reduces down leaving a small collar. On the nose, honey, grain and a little yeast. In the mouth, grainy and malty with some honey, yeast and a touch of grass. Light bodied. Low carbonation. Little lacing on the glass. Crisp, clean mouthfeel. Honeyed sweetness on a rather long finish that is quite dry and slightly bitter at the end.
A nice American Pale Wheat Ale with good flavor. Crisp and clean. Very drinkable. Recommended.
