The Mexican Logger Mexican Style Lager from Ska Brewing in Durango, Colorado pours out a very pale gold in color with good clarity and is topped with a two finger, snow white, frothy head that slowly reduces down to a film leaving a trail of solid lacing on the glass. On the nose, lime, grain, Saaz hops and a little sweetness. Crisp and clean in the mouth, a nice balance of spicy hop and malt sweetness with some light lime flavor. Light bodied. Moderate carbonation. Thick sheets of lacing on the glass. Crisp, very clean mouthfeel. Short to medium finish that is slightly dry.
An easy drinking, good lawnmower, hot summer day by the pool, floating down the river beer. Light and simple with good thirst quenching. Is it scorching hot outside? Then buy some Mexican Logger Lager.
