Sure its made up, but we think it's the perfect reason to rediscover English Ales in April. It also fits nicely between St. Patricks day in March and Cinco De Mayo in May! We're packing April full of Engish Ale reviews, and also digging up some old ones from the past. Here's what's on tap so far! 
The Brew Club will be posting reviews on Blacksheep Brewery’s Holy Grail Ale and Riggwelter along with Theakston’s Old Peceuliar. We have ‘Two Old Hens’ the Old Speckled Hen and Old Crafty Hen, Fullers London Porter, Fullers London Pride, and Fullers ESB, Timothy Taylor’s Landlord, Samuel Smiths Old Brewery Bitter, and if we have time we’ll throw in Bass Ale and the love-it or hate-it Newcastle Brown Ale.
