New to me - Abbey and Trappist Ales

  Recently, we did a pretty extensive review of Leffe, a Belgian 'Abbey Style' beer.  Personally, I'd never tried one of these Abbey Ales until last week, and I have to say I was thoroughy impressed!  Very different than any beer I've had before and I'm sort of on a quest to try more of them for research purposes!

  So far, I know there are several Leffe varities, and then there are also the Trappist varieties by Chimay, Orval and Westmalle.   Anyone try any of these?  What do you think of them?

  I just wanted to see if anyone else had an Abbey, or Trappist beer that they've had that they would recommend?  Its a little harder to find them here in the States as opposed to Europe - but I've seen a few.
