Dublin/Ireland
ABV – 6.00
IBU - 40
DATE – 30 MAY 2011
SERVING TYPE – 12 oz Bottle
GLASSWARE – Irish Pub glass
APPEARANCE – Black in color. Nice thick head that dissipates quickly, but leaves a nice lacing
AROMA- A mild licorice and roasted malts
TASTE – Strong burnt coffee flavor that you would expect from a good stout.
MOUTHFEEL – This beer defines the word in “Dry” in dry Stout. That feeling that a very dry wine leaves in your mouth, well that sums it up for this beer, not complaining. I like it.
CONCLUSION – A good all around dark beer. Not too heavy but heavy enough to remind you it is a stout. I could drink this year round.
