A- / 4.03 look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 4 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.5
City/State- Fort Collins, Colorado
STYLE – American Blonde Ale
ABV – 5.2% IBU – 28
DATE – 17 Jun 2011
SERVING TYPE – 12 oz Bottle
GLASSWARE – Tulip
APPEARANCE – golden honey color, poured with a thick head that settled to 1/8 inch and great lacing
AROMA- Sweet Citurs aroma
TASTE – Apricot right off the bat, a little over power at first but only because I was not expecting it. Good fruity beer that is not too sweet, has a bit of bitternes in the aftertaste.
MOUTHFEEL – Light and crisp with a bit of a puckerness for about ½ a second
CONCLUSION – I like New Belgium beer, and this one did not let me down. A nice crisp beer that goes well with a hot summer day.
