APPEARANCE – Black as night itself with a thick milky foam ½ inch thick with nice lacing
AROMA- Roasted coffee with a hint of burntness and figs
TASTE – Roast coffee with a good strong alcohol taste following close behind. A little bitter with hints of sweet candied fruit, I still say fig
MOUTHFEEL – Smooth with a nice warming sensation
CONCLUSION – This is a great beer, but a sipper or one to share with an old friend as I did.
