I have to say this lacks as a winter ale, as most of those are very hearty and spiced. But this ale is just damn drinkable and smooth. So I am going to have to recommend it to ale fans. I definitely would add it to my ale re-buy list, and I usually do not buy the same beer twice as I just want to taste something new constantly. For it to make my re-buy list, it has to meet my standards for a good beer.
Disclaimer: I am not a hops fan. So if you love super-hopped beer, you are likely to disagree with me. I like malty ales.
