Bright, clear copper appearance. Cream-coloured head fell to a thin layer & collar, leaving some lace. American hop aroma, with citrus & some pine; not overwhelming, but a more moderate intensity. Flavour is much bigger – sharply citric up front, finely effervescent carbonation, with resiny pine showing up in the middle and expanding across the palate. There’s also a slightly earthy note. Underneath is a dryish, caramel & toasted malt base. Solid bitterness eases in and clings to the tastebuds. Lengthy finish remains focused on the hops, with a pleasant lingering aftertaste. Really good!
Very nice, hoppy American-style IPA! Try with Indian dishes or hot wings with bleu cheese dressing.
