Pours a rather hazy amber-gold with a short-lived near-white head. Intriguing aroma of canned pears with a floral note. Smooth texture, medium body. Carbonation is on the restrained side. Flavours of canned pears, orange zest, dryish, biscuity caramel malt. Medium, balancing bitterness. Great drinkability; very more-ish as Michael Jackson used to say. Would make an excellent session beer. Holds a thin collar all the way down. Best not overly chilled – allows the complexity to come out.
