Deep honey gold hue with pale cream head that falls from 1/8” to a collar and thin layer. Some chill haze. Good dose of American, citric hops in the nose. Somewhat sharp up front – has a definite acidic bite. Hops dominate the palate with plenty of citrus (especially grapefruit) as it develops. Medium body. Good bitterness. Some caramel malt peeks through in the middle before the bitterness kicks in. Lengthy finish of bitter hops with some piney resin and citrus peel. Refreshing – I’ll have another, please! Very good American-style IPA. Nice network of foam clings to the glass.
