Pours out with a noticeable viscosity, a bright, orange-amber, translucent, with almost no foam. The nose is as expected – American hops, with plenty of citrus, floral, and piney notes. Full body with a rich texture and light, very fine carbonation. Big flavours – floral, citric & piney hops, fruity and rounded malt with sweet caramel and toffee and a gentle bitterness, finishing with resiny hops. Then the alcohol burn hits, warming the palate and lips. Further sipping and contemplation bring out more complexity. There’s a lot going on here, and I really like it! Really well balanced for such a big beer. Long-lasting finish focuses on hop resins and bitterness, with a lingering sweet tang at the sides of the tongue. Marvelous!

Mark That sounds pretty to close to the perfect beer for me. How would you compare it to Moylan's Hopsickle? More malt sweetness than a Hopsickle.

ironarrow42 Mark, yes, I'd say Hopsickle has more bitterness, and this has more sweetness.
