Food pairing

  What does everyone think about doing a pot-luck food pairing (maybe this belongs under the 'club meetings' discussion, but oh well)? We'll soon have a lot of beers on tap, and commercials are not strictly off-limits either. Each person can select their favorite and run with it.
  
  Just so you'll know what we'll have, here's an approximate sampling:
  
  -Monk Jr. Wit (Belgian spiced wheat beer; ready now)
  -Pitch Black IPA (ready now, but will benefit from some dry-hopping)
  -Chocolate Cherry Baltic Porter (high in ABV; out in november)
  -basic porter (low in alcohol and light on body; bottled and ready now)
  -both american and belgian blondes (both bottled and ready; very different from one another)
  -Oktoberfest lager (out in September)
  -saison (ready now; a bit anyhow; most is spoken for)
  -chinook pale ale (out at the end of August)
  
  Thoughts?

  Wit beer:Grilled Meats and Vegetables, Fresh Salad
  IPA:Red pizza with Sausage,Onions, and Spinach
  Cherry Porter: Chocolate Mousse
  Porter: Ruben, Patty Melt, Pastrami Melt
  
  And still need to think of more parings. For me I would need to sample the final product to get a better idea of what might fit.
  
  In terms of the overall idea..... BRILLIANT!!!!
