Hey Hopdog, I know it's probably way too late. I didn't see this post until yesterday. Anyway, are you sure about using aluminum? I'd be concerned about a couple of things. First, bacteria and second scratches that hold onto bacteria. I've always been told use stainless steel. Obviously, that's going to be more expensive, but when I was looking at wort boilers, I asked about aluminum and was always told, "No, go with stainless."
