  We're getting fruity now. Summer's on, and what is more summer-like than fruit? Let's taste any beer that has fruit flavors in the mix.

  Raspberry Brown Ale
  Lost Coast Brewing - Eureka, CA
  5.0% ABV
  
  This beer poured out clear and dark brown, kind of thin in body, but with a substantial one finger head.
  
  Great nose to this beer. Definitely could get the berry notes, some sweet malt and nuttiness as well.
  
  Taste was very berry up front, a little watery, very little hop presence, maybe a little chocolate malt.
  
  A little thin, not full bodied in any way, but more refreshing than you would expect from a brown ale. Good for a summer day.

  Wild Blue Blueberry Lager by Anheuser-Busch.
  
  
  
  I have friends that swear by this beer (if you can call it that). I personally think that the blueberry is WAAAYY too overpowering. I think a slight fruit compliment (ala Pete's Strawberry Blonde) is pretty decent, but this is just too much.
  
  It's 8% ABV is kind of nice but I really have alot of trouble choking this stuff down. It's basically like if you poured out half of a regular beer and filled the bottle with blueberry juice. It really doesn't even taste like beer at all...
  
  Again, I've heard many great things about it, but it just isn't for me.

  MELBOURN BRos spontaneous fermentation product of great Britain cheery flavor and apricot flavor a just like the wild blue there is way to much juice flavor i don't even recommended wasting your time trying either of these beers

  Rio Grande Brewing Chile Cerveza albuquerque's most wanted. I don't know if chile is a fruit but like the tomato could be considered. This golden beer is crisp and smooth with a mild taste of the green chili, after taste slightly spicy. A taste any buddy who loves green chile is all ready addicted to, and of course pairs nicely with any Mexican favorite (doesn't mean Taco Bell) pick one up if you can Muy Bueno

  Framboise Lambic, 4.00% ABV
  Brouwerij Lindemans in Vlezenbeek, Belgium
  
  The Framboise Lambic from Brouwerij Lindemans in Vlezenbeek, Belgium pours out a dark reddish purple in color with a one finger, lavender colored head that hangs around a little while. On the nose aromas of fresh raspberry, raspberry sorbet and a little sweetness. In the mouth this is packed with raspberry flavor almost like raspberry jam and while there is some underlying sweetness there is a good tartness as well. Almost makes you pucker. Good carbonation. Light side of medium bodied. Crisp, tart, clean mouthfeel. Nice tart finish with good flavor. A very refreshing lambic that is great on a warm day or for a change of pace

  Ok...not doing a full write-up on this one. Not to my taste, but it's obviously a coveted beer by many, as evidenced by it's lack of availability. So we sprang for the $20 it cost for this bad boy. It's brewed in cabernet barrels, with currants added to the mix. Great nose!! Did not know it was a sipper, so took a big swig that basically scared the bejeebies out of me. Went down bubbly like champagne (it's bottle fermented), with a very sour bad wine taste to it, with sour pie cherries, maybe it's the currants? When the carbonation mellowed out it was a little more palatable, but barely. We ended up wasting this thing, by feeding the drain...sorry Russian River. Really like your beers, just not this one.

  Cassis Lambic, 4.00% ABV
  Brouwerij Lindemans in Vlezenbeek, Belgium
  
  The Cassis Lambic from Brouwerij Lindemans in Vlezenbeek, Belgium pours out a deep purple in color (sort of like grape soda color) with a large violet colored head that sticks around for a bit. On the nose this is pure black currant with some earthiness. In the mouth you can taste the black currant big time with moderate sweetness that becomes over taken by puckering tartness. Light side of medium bodied. Smooth carbonation. Good lacing. Crisp, tart mouthfeel. Very tart on an extended finish that is packed with fruit flavor. A great Lambic that went down well on this hot day.
