  Tasted this today at a restaurant in Woodland Park, CO. Was given to me in a bottle, and poured out with a huge 2 finger head that sat atop like a puffy marshmallow. Color was very clear light amber. Nose of slightly roasted caramel malt. Taste is very clean and crisp, not a lot of depth of flavor, some malt, a little citrus, and some brown sugar. Nothing that lingers. Quite light bodied and slightly drying mouthfeel. A very drinkable beer, but nothing to write home about. Needs a little more depth to it.

  The Real McCoy Amber Ale from Mammoth Brewing Company in Mammoth Lakes, California pours out a deep amber in color with just a little cloud and a one finger, off-white head. On the nose aromas of caramel, toffee, brown sugar and earthy hops. In the mouth this is not as sweet as the nose led one to believe. Flavors of caramel with a tartness and slight hop bite taking over. Good spice too. Medium bodied. Some lacing. Quite carbonated. Pretty clean mouthfeel. Tart, bitter and biscuity on an elongated finish.

  Bridgeport brewing co. Ropewalk amber ale a light to no foam, slight malty taste with a clean crisp and a mellow finish a very refreshing beer!

  Alaskan Brewing Company, Juneau, Alaska
  
  The Amber Alt Style Beer from Alaskan Brewing Company in Juneau, Alaska pours out a deep amber (dark copper) in color with good clarity and a large, off-white head that dissipates to a film. On the nose aromas of biscuit, roasted grains, sweet malt and light hoppiness with some spice. In the mouth this comes across as fairly sweet with tea like flavors at first then you get the spice and a mild hop bite that slowly intensifies. Not to say this is hoppy by any means. It is a malt driven brew. Medium bodied. Well carbonated. Some lacing. Clean mouthfeel. Quite dry on the finish with good spice. A nice altbier that I liked a lot.

On the nose aromas of dried fruit, citrus hops and toasted malt. Quite clean in the mouth with dried fruit, caramel, cookie and a slight bitterness from the hops. Medium bodied. Sheets of lacing.
